– It can take Sweden to bed, says the Norwegian who is an expert at NRK.

Many consider the relays to be the big highlight during the World Ski Championships, and on the women’s side, Sweden is the big favorite for gold. So far, it has been a great success for the Swedish women’s skaters with three WC gold medals in Planica.

Johaug’s warning

A decision that greatly surprised the Norwegians.

For Norway, there will also be an unexpected name on the final stretch in the form of Anne Kjersti Kalvå, as she is not seen as the perfect sprinter needed for a finishing sprint. But the Norwegian ski queen Therese Johaug now sends a clear warning to the Swedish team before the final stretch.
– Anne Kjersti proved in the sprint relay that she has speed qualities. It’s one thing to sprint after running one kilometer, but it’s another to sprint after five, says the Norwegian to NRK.
– It could be a move that takes Sweden to bed a little.

But Norway’s choice and Johaug’s warning are not something that directly surprises Frida Karlsson before the relay.
– No then, those were the expected teams. We were not surprised at all, says the Swede to the evening newspaper and is sure of teammate Dahlqvist.
– Nobody beats Maja in a sprint. She is our finisher.
