Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

The Walking Dead parent series recently came to an end with a riveting finale. In the end, two absolute fan favorites from the horror series are finally returning. But originally it was filmed a very different finale with a big time skip. And hopefully we’ll see that too.

What happens in The Walking Dead alternate ending and when will it be released?

Insider reports on the alternative ending. According to sources, the season 11 finale makes a time jump of about 15 years. Then become the adult versions of Rick Grimes Jr. (Antony Azor), Gracie (Anabelle Holloway) and other children searching for more survivors. Like his father in the very first episode of the series, Rick speaks into a radio and says:

If you can hear me, please reply. This is Rick Grimes.

The moment ends with the “Hi?” of a responding survivor. This original version is closer to the comic book, which also concludes on a major time warp. Although director Greg Nicotero shot the sequence, but cut them out in the end. In his opinion, it would not have gone well with the scenes in the finale, in which Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) returns to The Walking Dead.

However, since the alternative ending was actually filmed, there is a high probability that it will also be seen at some point. When The Walking Dead season 11 Blu-ray comes out, the B version of the finale could be part of the extras. However, we do not expect the release before mid-2023.
