But how ripe the blueberries are varies depending on where in the country you are.
— In southern Sweden, there are the most berries to pick right now. It started already after midsummer. The further north you go, the later it gets. I’m sitting in Dalarna myself and here we have to wait another week or so, says Langvall to TT.
So when is the perfect time to pick blueberries?
– If the weather continues like this, it should be best to go out around the turn of the month, maybe a few days earlier. Then there should be the best ripe berries, he tells P4 Jämtland.
