Therefore you should avoid food in cans

After Advice and insights presented a test of various crushed tomatoes, a toxic substance has come to the fore – bisphenol A. Several different brands of crushed tomatoes were rejected due to the high content of the substance.

So what is bisphenol A? Although the substance can negatively affect the immune system, it is found in a variety of products such as electronic equipment, toys, furniture, paper and cardboard and, above all, cans. Bisphenol a can also affect reproduction, development in children and cause liver damage.

Here is the food you should have at home in case of crisis or war

Increases the risk of autoimmune diseases

It is already prohibited to use sieges that release the substance in food packaging intended for children under three years of age. But the poison does not only affect children.

– According to that theory, if you ingest enough bisphenol A for many years, it could increase the risk of autoimmune diseases, says the toxicologist Sabina Litens Karlsson to advice and findings.

Some examples of autoimmune diseases are multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis.

Therefore, you should ALWAYS store your tomatoes upside down

The result: A few grams are enough

Advice and findings found that all but one can of crushed tomatoes contained such a large amount of bisphenol a that it would be enough to ingest just a few grams of the product to exceed what the European food authority EFTA recommends.
