When 2024 arrived, it also meant several changes in the pension for thousands of Swedes.

That’s why pensioners call the Pensions Authority
In an interview with The evening paper says the Pension Authority’s informant Agneta Claesson that the pressure at the beginning of the new year was higher than expected.
– There are several thousand who call every day. We are unable to receive all calls.
After the pension notices started being sent out to Swedish households, there have been more questions than ever, Claesson explains.
– If you call now, you must be prepared to sit in long telephone queues. I would therefore like to urge everyone who has e-identification to use it and log in to the Pension Authority’s website. Even if you don’t get the explanations you want there, all the amounts are shown there. You can also change the tax digitally. If it is not urgent, our advice is to wait to call or to search for answers in other channels, explains Agneta Claesson to Aftonbladet.
