This is what SOS International writes in a press release.
Several problems
The biggest problems are said to be discharged 12-volt batteries and punctures.
Many of the problems you often have in a fossil -powered car are not as easy to solve in an electric car.
– The new technology has created a knowledge gap, more and more people are calling about simpler errors that you can often fix yourself if you have a traditional car. Not many people call about start -up or fuel shortages if you have a “petrol,” says Kristin Charlieson, specialist SOS International AB.

The statistics speak their clear language
According to SOS International, this forms the basis for electric cars being over -represented in the statistics. Some of the electric car -related problems can be solved with a restart, something many do not know how to do.
SOS International believes that several electric motorists call in this.
– If you can refuel yourself, you do not need to call for salvage, but you cannot even move an electric car yourself that has a high -voltage battery, Kristin Charlieson points out.
SOS International claims that 12 percent of all damage can be attributed to electric cars, although only 8 percent of the carriage park consists of electric cars.

The sports holiday tips for a better mountain trip
Below tips come directly from SOS International.
Plan your driving
Cottage change days can mean long queues at the charging stations. Charge well in advance to avoid stress.
Think about the cold
Low temperatures can reduce the range by up to 30 %. The heat fan also draws a lot of battery.
Run smart
Slower speed gives longer reach. Read about how your car model is affected by cold.
Maintenance Battery in place
If the car is parked for a long time, it runs at least 30 minutes from time to time to avoid discharging the 12-volt battery.
Have emergency equipment in the car
Warm clothes, food and drink can be decisive if you remain along the way.
Weather alerts
SOS International sees a clear connection with increased calls even day after there were weather alerts. Just because the weather warning is gone does not mean that the roads have returned to normal. Halca and Modd consists for another time.
