One person lost his life and 9 others were injured in the stampede that took place last night at the Main Street Armory entertainment venue in Rochester, New York, USA, where the artists GloRilla and Finesse2tymes took the stage.
Rochester Police Department Chief David Smith said in a statement that the cause of the stampede is not yet known. “There are some reports that gunshots caused panic in the crowd.” said.

Noting that the police could not find any evidence to support the allegations regarding the gunshots, Smith said, “We have no evidence that there was any shooting or that anyone was shot or stabbed at the scene.” said.
Stating that 3 women with serious injuries were detected inside the building, Smith said that one of these women died in the hospital. Smith said the other two women were in critical condition and seven were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
