After iOS 15.2, Apple also released the iOS 15.2.1 update. However, it seems that the company has decided to pull the plug on iOS 15.2.
iOS 15.2 DECISION FROM APPLE
According to MacRumors; Apple has stopped signing iOS 15.2. Since iOS 15.2 is no longer signed, iPhone users have no way to go back to iOS 15.2 from iOS 15.2.1. In summary, if you have installed the iOS 15.2.1 update on your iPhone, you can no longer revert to iOS 15.2.
APPLE ROUTINE IS STOPPING
Apple is known for routinely stopping signing older versions of software updates after new versions are released to encourage customers to keep their operating systems up to date. So Apple’s decision to iOS 15.2 comes as no surprise.
