“There is garbage just everywhere” – Paris garbage handlers continue to strike

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The strike is a mark against the French government’s plans for a new pension reform, which has caused massive protests and strikes around the country.

According to the city of Paris, there are now 5,400 tons of unhandled garbage along the city’s sidewalks. And even though the weather is still wet and cold, the stench from the waste spreads. Now the smell has started to disturb the residents in several affected areas.

The strike has been going on for a week, but when garbage collection is expected to resume is not yet clear.
