After the Viking hit Vikings ended, series creator Michael Hirst looked for his next historical project. He ended up with one of the most notorious outlaws the Wild West had to offer: the Gunslinger Billy the Kid. The western series has also been available to stream in Germany for almost a year. As the child of Irish emigrants, William H. Bonney (Tom Blyth) comes to the American continent in the western series. But life in his new home is full of challenges and his talent with a weapon allows the boy to grow into a cowboy who can bring death to his enemies.
