There is a new mount in WoW that requires you to complete quests for 23 days

With Patch 10.2, World of Warcraft got tons of new quests, a new area and rewards. One of them, the Ocher Dreamclaw mount, is only now available. In order to get the mount, you have to be extremely patient.

What kind of mount is this?

  • The Ocher Dreamclaw looks like a cross between a raptor, a saber-toothed tiger and a bird. The creatures can be seen frequently in the new area from patch 10.2.
  • However, the dream claw is a purely ground mount. So you can’t fly or kite with it.
  • The dream claw has been available since November 23rd, but you have to complete tasks for several weeks in a row, similar to Kua’fon from Battle for Azeroth.

    • This is how you get the dream claw: You can find the start of the quest series at the “Smoking Sprout” at the southwest corner of the lake directly near Amirdrassil (coordinates: 49/68). If you talk to the offspring, he will want you to put out the fire.

    You are not allowed to sit on a mount, otherwise you cannot interact with the object. Once you have put out the fire, you have to talk to the offspring again and clean him up. You will then receive the first quest: “Some Water…”

    For this quest you have to go to Professor Esch, a Treant in the Amirdrassil camp. From here the 23-day journey to Mt. begins.

    Get an ocher dream claw – here’s how it works

    You have to complete a total of 5 quests, between which you have to wait 3 or 5 days:

  • Follow Esch’s instructions and fill the bucket of water he gives you to water the sprout. A bar is now slowly filling up.
  • 5 days later you will receive the next quest: “A few minerals…” To do this you have to get fish bones from Deepmaw lurkers. You can find this just south of the Eye of Ysera.
  • Another 5 days later there is the quest: “The right food.” For this you should get turtle eggshells, whip plant material and bananas from Tel’Abim. The shells are available from turtles on the beach in the southwest of the island. You can get the material from whippers to the southeast of the Amirdrassil camp. You can buy the bananas from the innkeeper. Combines all reagents with one click on a Whip Plant Material in inventory.
  • After waiting 3 days, the fertilizer is ready. Take him to the plant and interact with it.
  • 5 more days later the next quest is ready: “And a little magic.” For this you have to set up a totem near Treants in the east of the dream and drain energy from it.
  • After another 5 days you finally receive the last quest: “A little hope is never without value”, but this time from Professor Esche, who is standing right next to the offspring. You will then get the mount from him.

    • While you’re waiting for the sprout to fill its bar anyway, you can safely do something else. If you collect mounts, it is advisable to complete epic seed events in your dreams. These have a chance of getting one of 6 mounts.
