The Pentagon submitted its annual “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)” report to Congress. The report covers a total of 757 incidents. Some of the incidents were clarified by being associated with balloons, birds and unmanned aerial vehicles. However, no explanation could be given for the “cylindrical object” that a commercial passenger plane narrowly avoided colliding with.
757 “UNDESCRIBED ABNORMAL PHENOMENON”
In the written statement made by the Pentagon, it was stated that the report was prepared by the Ministry’s All-Area Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in accordance with the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act.
It was stated that this year’s report includes a total of 485 incidents between May 1, 2023 and June 1, 2024, as well as 272 UAP incidents that occurred in 2021 and 2022 but were not recorded because they were not reported to AARO.
NOT ALL CASES WERE SOLVED
In the statement, it was stated that 118 of the incidents reported this year were resolved due to balloons, birds and unmanned aerial vehicles, but investigations into other cases are continuing.
THERE WERE PEOPLE WHO THINK ELON MUSK’S SATELLITES WERE UFOs
Additionally, according to the news on Ekol TV; Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite system has been frequently mentioned among objects misidentified as UFOs, especially in recent years.
“CYLINDRICAL OBJECT” PROTECTS ITS MYSTERY
However, not all events could be explained so simply. For example, a commercial passenger plane narrowly avoided colliding with a “cylindrical object” while flying over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of New York. This incident is still being investigated in detail and no clear explanation has been made about the object.
It was pointed out that the total number of UAP cases that AARO has investigated so far has exceeded 1600 as of June 1, 2024, and it was stated that analyzing and understanding the potential threats posed by UAP events continues with a collaborative effort involving many ministries and institutions.
FORMER PENTAGON OFFICIAL: WE ARE NOT ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE
On the other hand, in the session titled “UAP, Revealing the Truth” held in the US House of Representatives committee the other day, Luis Elizondo, a former Pentagon official, said, “We are not alone in the universe” regarding “unidentified flying objects” (UFOs). He used the expression.
“ALL THIS WAS DONE TO HIDE THE TRUTH”
Claiming that he had previously investigated UFOs as part of a secret Pentagon program, Elizondo said, “UAP is real. Extreme secrecy leads to serious abuses against loyal civil servants, military personnel and the public. All this was done to hide the fact that we are not alone in the universe.” he said.
