Theo Snaar Mattson, 13, was at his school in Trångsund when a student was shot.
The injured student was taken to hospital by ambulance and is said to have been awake and able to speak, according to the police.
– There was a person who screamed out there, he had blood here, says Theo and points to his face.

At 8:30 a.m., the police were alerted to a shooting at a primary school in Trångsund, south of Stockholm. A student had been shot and according to the municipality the two people who were involved in the shooting should have been students at the school.

The injured person was taken to hospital by ambulance and is said to have been awake and able to speak.,

Heard a scream outside

Police officers are currently working at the school and the municipality has deployed several different forms of crisis support. 13-year-old Theo Snaar Mattson is a student at the school and was on his way to a lesson when he discovered that several students had gathered.

– When I came back from my Spanish lesson, there were a lot of people in a clump looking out because there were a lot of police outside. Then we had to walk around and were called to the classrooms, says Theo.

He says that it has been restless at the school and that they heard a scream from a person outside.

– He had blood on his face, says Theo.

Lots of blood in the school building

The shooting should not have occurred in the building at the school that Theo was in, where several students are said to have been moved after the shooting.

– Many have had to be in our house as they are not allowed to be where it happened. There is a lot of blood there, says Theo.

Most of Teho’s class have gone home. The school contacted the parents to decide whether the children should be sent home or stay at school.

– I will be picked up by my mother, most of my class has gone home, says Theo.
