Have you had your declaration sent to your digital mailbox and have been told that you have a sum of money to collect? Then there are some details you should know for the tax refund to land on the account. It may differ when they dip into the account.
On the Swedish Tax Agency’s website, they describe that you who have taxes will get back will get the money paid automatically, but only in case you reported the bank account at the right time.
If you do not have a registered account with the authority, or have notified too late, you may need to request the money paid.

If you have declared digitally by April 2 without making additions or changes, the Swedish Tax Agency will send the final tax message between April 7 and 11. Thereafter, any tax refund is paid out between April 8 and 11.
If you instead declare no later than May 2, digitally or on paper, receive the final tax message between June 2 and 6. Then the tax refund is paid out between June 3 and 5.
Should you possibly get help to declare from an accounting firm no later than June 16, when the agency is valid, the final tax announcement is sent between August 4 and 8 and the refund lands in the account between 5 and 8 August.
However, if you have not received the tax refund in either April or June, it will be paid out between August 5 and 8 for you as well. For example, it may be because you have been deferred with your declaration.
Finally, the Swedish Tax Agency pays out any refund to those who have not received the final tax announcement, or who do not have tax registration in Sweden, between December 9 and 12.
