Subletting your tenancy is common, especially in big cities, but it can cause several problems.
– If you are really unlucky, you run the risk of criminal activity in the apartment during the rental period. It can, for example, be about prostitution and drugs, says Roland Sjölin, federal lawyer at the Tenants’ Association.
The tenants’ association urges, among other things, that you give your contact information to the landlord and reliable neighbors so that you are aware of what is happening in the home during the rental period.
