The court has decided that the trial will be held on June 12-15. However, the planning may be adjusted, the Court of Appeal states in a press release.
Tove disappeared after a night out last autumn and was later found dead in a wooded area outside Vetlanda. Two young women, aged 18 and 20 respectively, were recently sentenced to life imprisonment for murder. Both have appealed.
According to Eksjö District Court, Tove died of suffocation caused by strangulation.
However, the 20-year-old woman’s defender already questioned the cause of death in the district court and has called her own forensic pathologist as a witness to the appeal court hearing.
