For many Swedes, the Midsummer weekend means a longer car journey, with the result that it becomes narrower than usual on the roads. The worst situation is from Thursday morning until early evening, and midsummer evening morning until afternoon. The Swedish Transport Administration urges motorists to plan their journey in advance, to be out in good time and not to drive too fast. – As long as you keep your distance and think about the speed, it will go well, says the Swedish Transport Administration’s press manager, Bengt Olsson. He gives us the latest update on the traffic situation during the midsummer weekend, and informs about which roads are busiest. See the latest update on traffic conditions in the clip above.
