Then the finale of season 4 comes on the first

Das Erste is showing all episodes of the new 4th season of Babylon Berlin this week. The crime series based on the novels by Volker Kutscher is set this time in Berlin in 1931, in which Gereon Rath and Charlotte Ritter once again fight their way through a thicket of intrigues and machinations of extreme forces. However, the first one doesn’t take much time to broadcast; all episodes will be sent out within four days. You can find out when and where you can watch it (and catch up) here.

The finale of the 4th season of Babylon Berlin comes on Wednesday

Two episodes of the new season will be shown on Tuesday and Wednesday, each after the primetime film on the first.

The finale on TV: The broadcast dates of episodes 11 and 12 on the first

  • Episode 1, 2, 3 and 4: Sunday, October 1st, from 8:15 p.m
  • Episodes 5, 6, 7, and 8: Monday, October 2nd, from 8:15 p.m

  • Episode 9 and 10: Tuesday, October 3rd 10:10 p.m (after the broadcast of Michael “Bully” Herbig’s film Ballon)
  • Episode 11 and 12: Wednesday, October 4th 9:45 p.m (following the broadcast of After Us, the Rest of the World)
  • So you can stream the season finale now

The entire fourth season is available to stream in the ARD media library without any additional costs or accounts. So you can already watch the finale of season 4, which will only be broadcast on television on Wednesday. The three previous seasons are also available in the ARD media library.

Alternatively, if you have a subscription, you can use WOW and Sky to watch the new episodes.

That’s what the new episodes of Babylon Berlin are about

From the beginning, season 4 of the crime series was under the shadow of the controversy surrounding Gereon Rath actor Volker Bruch. The main actor, Bruch, attracted negative attention in advance due to his proximity to conspiracy theorists and his support of a demonstration in which right-wing extremists were proven to have taken part. This didn’t change his involvement in Babylon Berlin for the time being.

Bruch once again plays the investigator Gereon Rath, who infiltrates the right-wing extremist SA undercover while the Weimar Republic becomes increasingly unstable. Charlotte Ritter (Liv Lisa Fries) is of course also part of the series again.
