Then spring comes back – and so long it holds

After a period of low temperatures around the country, spring heat soon pulls back.
On Wednesday, the turnaround comes and then two -digit plus degrees await in the southern half of the country.
– It’s a lot of sun too, so it will probably feel nice, says TV4’s meteorologist Elisabeth Danielson.

The sun has been radiated over parts of the country this weekend, but temperatures have been held down due to winds from the north. But soon it will be both warm and sunny over much of the country.

– Towards the middle of the week, Tuesday or Wednesday, the winds become more southwester over the southern half and we are back at temperatures that are maybe ten to eleven degrees, says Elisabeth Danielson.

– It’s a lot of sun, so it will probably feel nice.

Warmer even in the north

It is mainly Götaland and Svealand that are affected by the southwestern winds.

In southern and northern Norrland you have to wait a little longer in the spring, but until next weekend it will be warmer anyway.

– Then we talk plus degrees, one to two maybe. The minus degrees are over.

“Wouldn’t shout hi”

After Wednesday, spring temperatures appear to remain for at least one and a half weeks in the southern half of the country. But it can still be too early to go down with the winter jacket to the basement.

– It’s hard to say, I don’t see any setbacks now, but it always comes in early April. So I wouldn’t dare to shout too much hello yet.
