The week certainly begins with a Finnish low pressure that brings cloudy weather and showers, especially along the Norrland coast.
But from Tuesday, high pressure with sun and heat is expected in most of the country. In the far south, temperatures can reach up to 26–27 degrees.

Real summer weather
In the most north-western part of the country, it will take some time before the sun comes out, but by Thursday-Friday there can be real summer weather there too, with temperatures around 20 degrees.
— That it will be 25 degrees at the beginning of September is not that unusual, but you have to remember that there are not that many hours in the day with those temperatures, says meteorologist Therese Fougman at SMHI.
The temperature therefore drops quite quickly in the evenings and during the nights it can be 10–12 degrees.
There are many indications that the high pressure will remain even during the coming weekend, at least in the south. For both Gothenburg, Malmö, Karlstad and Stockholm, for example, the forecast shows between 20 and 23 degrees during the weekend.
