After six seasons with a total of 65 episodes, the Karate Kid series Cobra Kai will come to an end next year. There are only five episodes left in the series Season 6 Part 3 out of. But when will these go online as the grand finale?
Netflix will release Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 in spring 2025
The five final episodes of Cobra Kai air on February 13, 2025 launched internationally on Netflix. Then it’s time to say goodbye to Daniel-san (Ralph Macchio), Johnny (William Zabka) and the kids from the rival dojos. But first you have to prove yourself at the big Sekai Taikai karate tournament.
There were a few surprises in the first ten episodes of the Cobra Kai season. On the one hand, the dramatic character death of Kwon Jae Sung
(Brandon H. Lee) and, on the other hand, a surprising romance between two characters that hardly anyone expected.
In addition, previously unknown details from the mysterious past of the long-dead karate mentor Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) have been revealed. Showrunner Jon Hurwitz told ScreenRant:
At the beginning of Season 6, we liked the idea of exploring the fact that you don’t know everything about your parents, relatives, or mentors. You only get to see a section of it. Normally you don’t learn everything about them in your lifetime. […] But we learn some things from Miyagi’s past that may have influenced the man he later became. And whether something like that in one possible Mr. Miyagi series would show up? Maybe yes, maybe no. This is how things continue in the Karate Kid universe
The end of Cobra Kai still means not the end for the Karate Kid franchisewhich, as we know, already includes five films. Three of them with Daniel actor Macchio, who will team up with Jackie Chan from the 2010 Karate Kid film as part of Karate Kid: Legends to take a new apprentice (Ben Wang) under the martial arts wing.
The film will be directed by Jonathan Entwistle (I Am Not Okay with This) and will be released on
May 29, 2025
coming to German cinemas. You can currently stream the first four Karate Kid films on MagentaTV at a flat rate.
