Thefts under investigation by Chatham Kent police

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a number of thefts that have occurred across the municipality.

Police report a silver 2013 Ford F-150 was stolen from a Thamseville property sometime overnight Friday.

Police are also investigating a break and enter at Howard Township residence, sometime overnight Friday that resulted in the theft of approximately 30 sheets of plywood with an estimated value of $1,000.

A third theft under investigation involves a property on Byng Avenue in Chatham being entered over the past week, police said.

Wiring was stolen from trailers that were located within a compound, causing approximately $4,000 worth of damage and losses, police said.
