Man allegedly steals handicap parking signs

A woman faces multiple charges after an alleged theft at a local business on St. Clair Street Chatham.

During the investigation, she allegedly provided a false name, Chatham-Kent police said.

She was also found to have an outstanding warrant for allegedly failing to appear in court. The woman was taken to headquarters and charged with theft and obstructing a police officer.

She was released with a short date.

Intoxicated man arrested

A call was received for a man believed to be intoxicated at an apartment complex in the area of ​​Little Street in Wheatley.

Break-ins investigated

On Friday, at approximately 7 am, police were called to an insecure premise in the area of ​​Arnold Street in Wallaceburg.

Warrant arrests

Police located a 50-year-old Chatham woman Friday evening who had an active warrant for allegedly failing to comply with her probation.

She was arrested and released with a short date.

Also on Friday, police located a 43-year-old Chatham man who was wanted for allegedly failing to comply with his probation.
