A woman faces multiple charges after an alleged theft at a local business on St. Clair Street Chatham.
During the investigation, she allegedly provided a false name, Chatham-Kent police said.
She was also found to have an outstanding warrant for allegedly failing to appear in court. The woman was taken to headquarters and charged with theft and obstructing a police officer.
She was released with a short date.
Intoxicated man arrested
A call was received for a man believed to be intoxicated at an apartment complex in the area of Little Street in Wheatley.
He was also found the man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, police added. He was taken to headquarters and released when sober with a short date.
Break-ins investigated
On Friday, at approximately 7 am, police were called to an insecure premise in the area of Arnold Street in Wallaceburg.
Police learned a front glass window was broken. Someone entered and stole thousands of dollars worth of comic books.

Also on Friday, at approximately 7:30 am, police responded to a break and enter complaint in the area of Birchwood Street in Chatham.
Police learned sometime overnight, someone entered an unlocked garage door and stole several items. Contact Const. Levi Tetrault at [email protected]
That same day, police were called to an address in the area of Regal Drive in Chatham.
Between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm, someone entered a residence through an unlocked window and stole thousands of dollars worth of items. Contact Const. Nicole Kadour at [email protected]
Warrant arrests
Police located a 50-year-old Chatham woman Friday evening who had an active warrant for allegedly failing to comply with her probation.
She was arrested and released with a short date.
Also on Friday, police located a 43-year-old Chatham man who was wanted for allegedly failing to comply with his probation.
He was arrested and released with a court date.
