In January, American border patrol guard David Malaland was murdered near the Canadian border. It is one of six murders that the mysterious so-called Zizian group is suspected to be behind. The murders are scattered over Vermont, Pennsylvania and California, according to the News Agency Ap.
AP has reviewed the so -called Zizians. A picture of a bunch of young computer scientists, most people in their 20s and 30s, has met in online forums. There they have shared anarchist opinions and slowly but surely become increasingly violent. Several of them advocate veganism, are interested in AI and must identify themselves as transgender people. One of the members should also have worked on Google, but this has not been confirmed by the company itself.
The leader “Dog” – and resurfaced
Four of the Zizian Group’s alleged members are already detained accused of murder. Another three are on the run, including 34-year-old Jack Amadeus “Ziz” Lasota who has been identified as the group’s leader, according to AP.
“Ziz” Lasota goes under the pronoun she and has previously fought her own death. In 2013, she took a computer science degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and must have done her internship at NASA. She started a blog 2016 that was named Ziz. There she wrote down her theory that man’s two brain halves could have separate values and genders and that they “often want to kill each other”.
From its posts online, “Ziz” Lasota managed to collect a group of “extremely vulnerable and isolated” supporters.
In November 2019, Lasota and several other people were arrested in connection with the protesting outside an event organized by the Center for Applied rationality. The Zizians should, among other things, have wearing masks and blocked the entrance to the building. Afterwards, an investigation began, but in August 2022, the US Coast Guard received a report that Lasota had fallen out of a boat in San Francisco Bay and drowned. The body was never found, but her mother confirmed the death and a death run was published.
But shortly thereafter, “Ziz” Lasota showed up again. Life’s living.
Are suspected of multiple murders
In the fall of 2022, the Zizians moved into a bunch of vans parked on a property owned by Curtis Lind in Vallejo, about 30 miles north of San Francisco. But after the group did not pay rent, Lind tried to get them evicted. The group then pointed him with a sword and lime lost one eye in the attack. Lind shot one of the members to death, but was released from the murder charges after the court ruled that he acted in self -defense. But in January, Lind was found dead, after he got his neck cut.
Just a few weeks earlier, on New Year’s Eve, an older couple was murdered in Chester Heights, Pennsylvania. The deaths could be linked to the Zizians, but Lasota was released against the castle. Then she stopped showing up in court.
Murdered border guard
The latest murder that the Zizians are suspected to be behind took place on January 20 in Vermont. An American border patrol guard stopped a car with two people in, both of which could be connected to the Zizians. Hotel staff had previously alerted the authorities after seeing one of the people carrying a gun.
When the car was stopped at the roadside, both the border patrol guard and the car’s fellow passengers were shot to death. Among other things, the car found ammunition, a bulletproof helmet, glasses that can help one see in the dark and gas masks. The member who fired the shots was arrested.
Neighbor: they went out into the woods at night
During the police investigation, the area was investigated where the Zizians are suspected to have lived. AP has talked to one of the neighbors who lived near the group until September 2023. He remembers seeing three people dressed in long black coats and military -like clothes.
– They rarely came out on the days but walked around the neighborhood and in the forest at night. Sometimes all three went on for a walk and everyone held each other in hand. They seemed to care a lot about each other, said the former neighbor, who wanted to be anonymous.
