Monaco, Dubai, St. Tropez and a fleet of vehicles that blows up parking garages: As Germany’s most famous TV millionaires, the Geissens indulge in absolute luxury. Since 2011, RTLZWEI has been showing a documentary soap about the flashy lives of swank celebrities. Starting today, the station is showing new episodes, but this time it could be much more serious: Is the stress finally becoming too much?
The Geiss family is reaching its limits: Is the millionaire fame too much for them?
All of Germany knows Robert Geiss as a spouting millionaire. But now there is reason to worry: his mother Margret fears that her son may have overextended himself recently. Although the family has enough money to retire long ago, Robert Geiss is still passionate about making money. At the age of 60, the TV millionaire would be burdening himself far too much, as Carmen Geiss also confirms:
We build in St. Tropez and Dubai. We also manage 14 companies. I can not anymore.
Robert Geiss believes that the new episodes of his own documentary soap will therefore be particularly emotional. “It will be the worst season ever – with a lot of drama”said Geiss. “But we never lose our sense of humor.”
What happens in the new episodes of The Geissens – A Terribly Glamorous Family?
It’s going to be terrible (and) glamorous again with the Geissens. As always, there is a wonderfully unabashed insight into the life of the millionaire family, which shows luxury and glamor but also stress and catfights. This time, dad Robert and Co. are heading to Abu Dhabi, where they want to immerse themselves in the luxury atmosphere of a Formula 1 race as star guests. But even entering the country on the yacht causes trouble: the Geissens have to endure a raid with drug-sniffing dogs. Are they even allowed into the country?
The Geissens also visit the yacht in which Princess Diana spent her last vacation before her tragic death. A moment that moves her to tears, especially for Mama Carmen. Things even get occult in Bali: daughter Shania takes part in a magical ceremony to combat panic attacks, but can that really help?
