A concert hall called Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia’s capital, was attacked by armed men on the evening of March 22. While the images shared on social media showed that the attackers opened fire randomly in the hall, the Russian Federal Security Service announced that, according to initial findings, 40 people died in the terrorist attack, and Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko announced that 145 people were injured, 60 of them seriously. According to last minute data, it was reported that the death toll reached 143.
After the incident, a fire broke out on the roof of the building where the concert hall was located, and hundreds of teams were dispatched to extinguish the fire. The roof of the building collapsed after a while.

PERPETRATORS CAUGHT
11 people were caught in connection with the terrorist attack in Moscow. It was reported that 4 of those captured were directly involved in the attack.
A NATIONAL MOURNING WAS DECLARED
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that March 24 was declared a national mourning due to the terrorist attack in Moscow.
Russian President Putin’s statement on the subject is as follows:
“We encountered a carefully planned terrorist attack, as well as a pre-prepared mass murder of people.
