“After many medical tests done, it shows that I have a small tear in my calf and I will need more time to recover,” the 28-year-old world number four wrote on Twitter.

Jabeur pulled out of his semi-final against Iga Swiatek, the reigning French Championships and US Open champion, in Stuttgart on Saturday after calf problems. Swiatek later won the entire tournament.
