The world is destroyed and a Marvel star has to beat up zombies and alligators (!)

The over 50 Netflix films announced for 2024 also include an entertaining action film that you can stream on Netflix starting today. Badland Hunters sends MCU star Don Lee into a destroyed end-time world where he doesn’t just have to fight aggressive zombies. Totally crazy action entertainment with a sci-fi touch is guaranteed.

The trailer for the Netflix film already makes it clear that we shouldn’t take the story of Badland Hunters too seriously. Many years after Korea transformed into a post-apocalyptic Korea following a mega-earthquake, Nam-san makes a living as a hunter. Knock out an alligator with your bare fist? No problem.

As befits a typical end-time story, the hunter has to protect or save a young woman when she is kidnapped by a mad scientist. Unfortunately, he carries out cruel human experiments and soon Nam-san and his colleagues have to assert themselves against hordes of violent zombies.

The South Korean leading actor Ma Dong-seok aka Don Lee achieved international fame as the superhero Gilgamesh in the Marvel film Eternals and with the zombie horror Train to Busan. He has been leading since 2017 the tough action series The Roundup in which he acts as a Bud Spencer blend with quick-witted arguments against criminals. The fourth part, The Roundup: Punishment, is starting this year.
