As always, Stas Bartnikas invites us to take to the heights to discover the beauty and diversity of the terrestrial landscapes. Direction first, the land of predilection of the Russian photographer: Iceland. A very photogenic and contrasting world where the ice competes with the burns of volcanoes. The next stopover takes us over a literally scorched earth: the Valley of Death. Water is increasingly scarce in this part of California, the lakes are drying up and Colorado is running out.
The journey then continues in a land of scarred Canada where bleeding oil sands. Finally, the photographer shares with us a sparkling piece of the magnificent desert from Namib, Namibia.
