The words deleted from Carola Häggkvist’s song
However, the song received a slight change in the program. SVT chose to delete one of the lines:
“So take me and hold me tight and show me what you can do. Anywhere, anytime, I know you’re the man. So don’t say no, we like each other Mickey”.

In another email The Express explains SVT’s Mathilda Baggeproject manager for “Allsång på Skansen”, that the change had nothing to do with the meaning of the text:
“Our conductor Stefan Brunzell arranges pretty much all the music that is performed in “Allsång på Skansen” and in some cases we need to shorten a song by a few lines for time reasons. In Mickey, this was the best place to cut, and has nothing to do with the text lines,” she writes, continuing:
“We are extremely proud to have our own house band with Kapellmeister Stefan Brunzell at the Allsångsscenen, who interprets and arranges all the music week after week”.
