The TV legend Steffo Törnquist has worked at TV4 since 1989. Now Steffo is in his 35th year at the channel, and he seems to have no plans to leave. At least not for any competitor.
When he visited last year Bathina Philipsson podcast, Steffo talked about something he learned in life – namely to stick to a platform that you like.
Although Steffo recently turned 68, he still appears in Nyhetsmorgon, and many viewers appreciate it when Steffo adds a golden edge to their mornings.

With thousands of Nymo broadcasts behind her, Steffo is probably one of the channel’s most experienced presenters. But even the sun can have its famous spots. Sometimes it just goes a little wrong.
During the Friday morning, Steffo and the couple’s horse would Sofia Geite greet the viewers – and it didn’t quite go as planned. Steffo’s charming hubris added something to that.

– Good morning, good morning. Welcome to Nyhetsmorgon, says Sofia Geite – aimed at the television viewers.
But Steffo assumed that the warm welcome from the colleague was directed at him.
– Thank you, thank you, says Steffo.
– How nice that you are here Steffo, you should feel very welcome – you are the guest of honour. Welcome the rest of you to join us, says Sofia Geite – at the same time Steffo gasps for air during her hysterical fit of laughter.
Even the camera guys can be heard laughing at Steffo’s miss in the clip as TV4 published.
