The womens lions tournament ended in victory now Sweden

Finland won two games and lost one in the Swedish EHT tournament.

One goal in each period was the winning tactic for Naisleijon in the EHT hockey tournament that ended on Saturday in Sweden. Finland took its second victory of the tournament in Södertälje, when Juuso Toivolan piloted national team defeated the home team 3–1.

Sweden dominated the match in front of almost 3,000 spectators, but was able to surprise Finland who played with a goal Anni Keisalan just once. Keisala got in the way of the puck no less than 29 times.

Finland scored two goals in the match with superiority, because Jenniina Nylund succeeded in the opening set and Julia Liikala in the second period during the opponent’s ice-out. Played in the middle of the second chain Nora Tulus sealed the winning numbers at 3–1. Nylund collected 1+1 power points, and Ronja Savolainen and Sanni Vanhanen were passing two hits.

In addition to Sweden, Finland beat Switzerland in the tournament, but narrowly lost to the Czech Republic 1–2. Finland will continue the EHT games in December in Tampere’s Hakametsä.
