Annie Charlotte, 23, from Surrey, was diagnosed with a rare condition that meant she had two vaginas and had two periods a month. Due to this rare disease, she could conceive two babies from different men at the same time. Charlotte discovered she had uterine didelphy when she went to wear a birth control coil at age 16. She has learned to love and embrace her body as a young woman who has been battling this disease ever since.
FINDS HIS STATUS TOO COOL
This disease means that she can conceive two babies from two different men at the same time. She also has two menstrual periods that she manages with birth control, and she says both vaginas are “fully functional.” While it took several years for her to accept her situation, 23-year-old Annie now finds it “cool”.
IT WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO HAVE A CHILD
Speaking about her diagnosis, Annie told Mirror: “I went to put a birth control coil with a friend, the nurse was messing it up. She was confused and made a surprised sound.” The diagnosis came as a huge shock to Annie, who was later informed about how it would affect her life. “I was told that having a child would be very difficult and would involve multiple hospital visits and preterm delivery by cesarean section because there would not be enough room for the fetus to be transported for full term,” she explained.
“IT WAS SCARY TO BE SAID IT WAS NOT NORMAL”
“I’ve also been told there is a chance of multiple miscarriages. “I’m afraid of having children or trying to get pregnant – this is something I’ve been worried about for a long time. I was a young woman. I was just starting to get interested in dating and exploring different parts of my body, and all of a sudden I was told it was different from everyone else. When you’re young you want to be ‘normal’ and being told you’re not normal was really scary.
STOP VIEWING THIS SITUATION AS A PROBLEM.
“I got a little off track, didn’t say anything to anyone, and had a hard time talking to my mom about it.” Annie learned to open up and accept her body in college. She even used the phrase ‘I have two vaginas’ as an icebreaker. “I started to really accept it. I stopped looking at it as a medical issue and all the problems that could come from having kids and instead it was something that was a super cool side of myself because of people’s reactions.” she said.
“Now, I’ve fully embraced it and accepted it as a part of myself, and I’ve never been more confident.” Aside from pregnancy concerns, Annie’s condition isn’t affecting her life too much and she’s “used to”.
THE MAN HE HAD SEX DIDN’T KNOW
“Any romantic partner would just be curious, but I’ve never had a bad reaction – I just get a lot of questions. Some people think I’m lying, but in general everyone is curious about this and wants to know more.
Just after I had sex with a guy I’m dating [bu konuyu] I told you. She shared that she was confused to say the least, saying she didn’t notice. I taught him how to feel the wall that separates my vagina, half an inch in.
“Once he could feel it, he was still a little confused but also a little fascinated.” After seeing other women launch successful, lucrative pages, Annie realized she had something unique to bring to the table and founded OnlyFans in 2020. “Most of the urgent questions I get from fans are ‘are there really two!?’ she said.
PRODUCES SPECIAL CONTENTS FOR YOUR VAGINA
“Every subscriber asks this all the time. Most of the time they just want to know how sexual things work, but some also want to know more mundane things – like how I pee! I don’t think they know much about female anatomy. I state my status online in my name and in my bio, that’s it. So it’s common for people to follow along out of curiosity – and I shoot certain content around the concept of having two vaginas.”
ENVIRONMENT FULL SUPPORT
Annie says it’s “life-changing” in the current financial environment and she’s proud to support herself. “I moved at 23, I can save, invest and live comfortably,” she explained.
“At the beginning I found it absolutely terrifying and it was hard to say it to my friends and my mom, but everyone I care about has been incredibly accepting and encouraging. I definitely have a very full life – I’m always busy on social media, creating content for OnlyFans or chatting with my subscribers, so dating is right now “I never see myself returning to a traditional job, I really enjoy it. I’ve always wanted to be an actor, so I think this is the closest thing I can do.”
