The Witcher season 3 introduces 7 new main characters in the finale – and 6 of them are already getting their own series next year

Henry Cavill’s adventures as Geralt in the Netflix series The Witcher are drawing to a close. A total of three episodes of season 3 can be seen from July 27th, in which events will roll over. We can expect not only a brutal magic war on Thanedd and Geralt’s last fight, but also the Introducing seven new characters, which become an important part of the plot from season 4 onwards. The Witcher season 3: Marvel star becomes Geralt’s new companion Milva

With a look at promo pictures and the events of the novel The Age of Contempt, this season Geralt will return to Brokilon Forest, the Dryad homeland of Season 1. This is where he meets the Hunter, tracker and archer Milvawho joins the witcher in his coming adventures.

One of the biggest twists in Ciri’s story is forthcoming in Part 2 of Season 3. Separated from Geralt and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), she meets a young gang of thieves in the book: the rats. The first teaser for the season 3 finale reveals two of the six new main characters.

The Rats are six young misfits who have experienced much suffering and found each other in the midst of the Nilfgaardian Empire’s war. We even have a member seen briefly in episode 3 of this season get: Mistle.

This is the cast of the rat gang:

  • Giselher (Ben Radcliffe) is the leader of the gang and a deserter from Nilfgaard’s army

  • aces (Connor Crawford) also lost his entire family in an attack by the Nilfgaardians

    • When we first set eyes on the rats in Season 3, they’ll be up their future seventh member meet. In the template, Ciri joins the young bandits for a longer period of time. In an interview with Moviepilot, actress Freya Allan gave a little preview of Ciri’s new family unit:

    That kind of dynamic will be very refreshing for me. Being with a large group of people my age is going to be really fun. I’ve met them all and they are all perfectly cast for their roles.

    The cast of all the rats has been known for some time, as they are still from The Witcher season 4 own spin-off series will lead. Filming recently ended in South Africa. Whether all six members will actually appear before the end of this season has not yet been confirmed.

    When is The Witcher Season 3 Part 2 coming to Netflix?

    The Witcher Season 3 will be released in two parts on Netflix. Issue 1 with a total of five episodes has been available on Netflix since June 29, 2023. The remaining three episodes will be released on July 27, 2023.
