The Witcher book author shares his opinion on the Netflix

The Netflix adaptation of The Witcher drew much more inspiration from author Andrzej Sapkowski’s books than the more popular video games. In a recent public appearance, the author commented on the future of the novels and also gave his Brief opinion on the Netflix series away. But it is not really positive.

The Witcher book author is not very euphoric about the Netflix series

According to Redanian Intelligence, Sapkowski spoke about the future of The Witcher novels as part of the 2023 Taipei International Book Exhibition. For the author, the main story is complete, his vague plans for future books are more expansive prequels or sidequelsdedicated to other aspects of the universe.

When he appeared, he also became his Opinion about the Netflix series asked. To this he said briefly:

I’ve seen better. I’ve seen worse.

Enthusiasm sounds different and the statement seems more as if the author of The Witcher novels wanted to hold back with stronger criticism.

The 3rd season of the Netflix series is scheduled for Summer 2023 start. It will be the final episodes starring Henry Cavill. For Season 4, Liam Hemsworth takes on the role of Geralt.
