Defender Modibo Sagnan returns to his homeland. The 24-year-old central Frenchman has been sold by FC Utrecht, reportedly for around 3.5 million euros, to Montpellier, the current number 12 in France. Sagnan was in his second season at FC Utrecht. He came over from Spanish Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022. FC Utrecht rented Sagnan during the first season, and last summer he was acquired for around 1 million euros. Sagnan played a total of 42 matches for FC Utrecht.
