– There have been some tough thaw periods in January, but we are adapting and it feels great to now be able to welcome people here, says Janne Carlsson, project manager for the Winter Park.
On Saturday, the park officially opens with, among other things, Skridskobanan Medvinden out on Storsjön, a snow castle, barbecue areas and a smaller ice surface for hockey or other skating games. Ski tracks and a mini golf course on ice will also be completed in the coming weeks.
