The winner of Miss France 2025 may already be known. An artificial intelligence, which has already proven itself in the past, already has a big favorite.
The Miss France 2025 evening is fast approaching. This Saturday, December 14, from 9 p.m., 30 young women will compete for the prestigious crown before the eyes of millions of viewers. Like every year, the event gives rise to its share of predictions and speculation on the identity of the future beauty queen. Among the misses regularly cited as favorites, we find Miss Roussillon, Miss Languedoc, Miss Réunion, Miss Picardie (first in the general knowledge test), Miss Aquitaine, Miss Ile-de-France, and even Miss Nord-Pas- from Calais.
But this week, it was a firm specializing in big data which delivered its predictions based on artificial intelligence. After having analyzed in depth the engagement and conversations generated by the candidates on social networks, the AI developed by Avisia gives Miss Guadeloupe, Moïra André, the big favorite with a 68% chance of succeeding Indira Ampiot. The 28-year-old young woman seems to benefit from a very active and engaged community since her regional election last September.
Very involved professionally, Moïra André works full-time as a digital advisor to the Guadeloupe departmental council. “In addition to the competition, I have already done my 35 hours,” she confides with hindsight. If she is elected, her cause will be to fight against “illectronism”, these difficulties in using digital tools which affect many French people.
Finishing second in the Miss France general knowledge test, the dynamic young woman is also passionate about dancing and very comfortable on stage. Guadeloupe, who have won the title twice since 2020, hope to achieve a historic treble this year. However, predictive analytics also puts other competitors in a good position. In detail, Miss Martinique obtains a 56% chance of victory, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 55%, Miss Guyana 39%, Miss Burgundy 36% and Miss Picardie 36%.
Yet another prediction from an AI that will not come true? Beware! For 5 years, Avisia’s AI has successfully identified the finalists every year and correctly predicted the winner twice. His predictions should therefore be taken very seriously even if the final success will also depend on the vote of viewers and the jury on election night. Response in a few hours to find out if the algorithms were right!
