Harri Heliövaara and Lloyd Glasspool have advanced to the semifinals in the doubles match of the French Open. The Finnish-British duo won the Moncacola-Polish pair in the third round Hugo Nys / Jan Zielinski 7–6 (9–7), 6–3.
The opening lot was very smooth. Heliövaara and Glasspool had to clear the wilderness balls both before the tie-break and in the tie-break, but turned 7–6 (9–7) in favor of the exciting batch.
In the second installment, the Finnish-British duo took the break at an early stage and took the batch 6–3.
The duo, who are playing for the first time in the French Open, have taken three handsome wins straight in two sets. In the first round, a double pair of French Open winners fell Kevin Krawietz / Andreas Mies.
In the semi-finals, the pair placed 16th will be met Rohan Bopanna / Matwe Middelkoop.
