The striker of the London football club Arsenal Kai Havertz wife has received threats on social media after Havertz’s penalty miss against Manchester United on Sunday.
ManU won the English Cup match 5–3, which stretched into a tough competition, and continues to the 4th round of the Cup. United’s Turkish backup goalkeeper Altay Bayindir saved a penalty shot by German Havertz.
Havertz’s wife Sophia Havertz shared screenshots of two threatening messages he received on Monday. Sophia Havertz is expecting the couple’s first child.
Arsenal have reported social media abuse to the police and are working with experts to identify those responsible.
