There are no wild boars in Denmark. They were shot to prevent the spread of the dreaded African swine fever. A seven-mile-long fence in Jutland prevents new wild boars from entering the country via Germany.

He sat for a long time in the municipal council in Lund and in the Riksdag for the People’s Party, now the Liberals, before in the early 1980s he helped form the Green Party. He was also their first mouthpiece along with Ragnhild Pohanka.
