The weather turns – sleet in the north and five degrees in the south

The weekend has offered sun and warmth.
But as so often in Sweden – after sunshine comes rain.
– Now there will be a period with slightly more unstable weather, says TV4’s meteorologist Frida Johansson.

This weekend we had some of the highest temperatures of the year around the country. But even though summer is hiding around the corner, it’s not a straight road to get there.

– There is a cold front moving in with cooler weather and precipitation in the form of both rain and snow, says Frida Johansson.

“Minus degrees and snowfall”

During Monday, the east coast will retain its warmer temperatures, but the cold front lies in wait along the west coast.

On Tuesday, the temperatures will drop slightly, but only during Wednesday will we see the really chilly weather.

– If we look in the far north, it’s freezing temperatures and snowfall. Otherwise, it is mostly rain that gets in, says Frida Johansson.

Then the heat can be back

But already by next weekend the heat may be back.

– If you continue to look ahead to Thursday, a high pressure will come from the south and the temperatures will once again creep up towards 16-17 degrees, says the meteorologist.
