The extensive water leak that left large parts of Nyköping and Oxelösund without water on Thursday has now been repaired, the municipality of Nyköping states.
However, the problems with the water supply are expected to continue. Residents are encouraged to be frugal and boil the water before drinking it.
On Friday, suspicions arose of another leak after the pressure dropped again in Nyköping’s water tower. Later in the evening, however, the pressure increased again without any new leak being found.
