Even after the end of the eleventh season, The Walking Dead is far from being told. As Bloody Disgusting reports, the series recently began filming in the US state of New Jersey. The production published two pictures on Twitter. Lincoln and Gurira can only be recognized by their hands. Still, fans will be happy.

The spin-off is supposed to be about the reunion of the two characters. Lincoln’s character disappeared by helicopter in Season 9 and has been wanted by Michonne ever since. The series is just one of several upcoming The Walking Dead spin-offs, including The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

Despite the good news, fans will still have to wait quite a while for the spin-off. The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne will be released later this year 2024 appear.
