Ebba Andersson has just started the 2024/25 season – and she has done so with mixed success.
The two opening World Cup weekends have taken place in Finnish Ruka and Norwegian Lillehammer. Unfortunately, the beginning of the season has not really been as good as expected.
So how has she actually performed?
The premiere weekend in Ruka began with a 10 kilometer classic, where Andersson finished in seventh place. When there was a 20 kilometer mass start, Andersson was once again ready at the starting line. Then she finished in ninth place.
The course in Norwegian Lillehammer is known for being one of the World Cup’s toughest, and it showed in the Swedish national team’s final placings.
Also in Lillehammer, 10 kilometers free ended with a seventh place. The 20 kilometer mass start in Lillehammer was Andersson’s best performance so far in the season, when she finished in fourth place.

The Swedish national ski team is full of couples – one of them is Ebba Andersson and Gustaf Berglund. The couple recently moved in together and they talked about it in an interview with The Express.
– A little more structure in everyday life. And that Gustaf doesn’t have to live in a suitcase. Now he can have his own wardrobe.
Gustaf Berglund commented on the move.
– I’m really excited to move in. It will be super fun. Ebba and I have been together for almost three years and there has been a lot of luggage. I look forward to having all the stuff in one place. It will be so nice.
Berglund talked about how he looks forward to having a garden to take care of.
– I would describe myself as a guy who likes tinkering in the garden. I’ve driven a bit of a clearing saw over the years and was responsible for mum and dad’s lawn. Not to be cocky, but I think I’m better than Ebba at tending a garden.

The house the couple has moved into is, according to The Sports Biblevalued at 7.5 million. In SVT’s popular program series Callprat Andersson told about the move.
– Ehh, yes, not 100% painless, but right now it feels good anyway. We haven’t stayed very many nights in the house, but so far we are having a great time.
How much money does Ebba Andersson earn?
According to the Swedish Tax Agency’s data, which Nyheter24 has seen, Ebba Andersson had a fixed earned income in 2023 of SEK 612,000. Spread over the year’s twelve months, it comes to SEK 51,000 a month.
