Viewers’ reaction to redesigned let’s dance
This year’s season offered major changes – Pär Lärnström that has been the program manager for Let’s Dance for many years now be joined by Johanna Nordströmand the jury now consists of Tony Irving and two new faces: Taya Shawki and Eric Saade.
It’s not the only thing new. The entire arrangement has been changed. The first three programs are not directly broadcast but are pre -recorded. They are called qualifying programs, and two pairs are knocked out in each program. Beyond that, it is no longer a live orchestra, but everyone dances to pre -recorded music.
The new arrangement has teased gall fever on the viewers. In the comments section on TV4’s Instagram, several disappointed viewers have expressed their anger, and several write straight out that they will not continue to look.
“These three qualifiers have meant that I will not look at the rest of the program. Completely lost interest.”
“Unfortunately, I who loved and followed Lets Dance in all years is incredibly disappointed with the new arrangement. Big mistakes let a studio audience vote and that you go out in the first section. No longer sees”
“So damn boring concept this year. Barely so you can watch”

The lighting in the new Let’s Dance makes viewers not see anything
But it is not just the new concept that is criticized by the viewers. Several viewers find it difficult to see anything at all. This year, the lighting is a little different than before, which makes some viewers difficult to even see the famous dancers out on the dance floor.
“Super sad arrangement with all the talented who go out directly. Look over the lighting, very difficult to see the dancers. Have seen all the sections since the start but hesitant to follow this further,” writes a viewer on the channel’s instagram.
“Super disappeared on the new format. Recorded, no live orchestra, the background with headlights and digital scenes à la Mello makes it hard to watch, votes right away. No, no and no. Feel zero in my heart. And I love dance.”
“Far too much light effects on the floor, the walls all around, hardly the dancers sometimes”
“The studio feels B. Bad that they don’t have live orchestra anymore. It’s dark when they dance so you hardly see them.
“It’s far too much scenes/light effects when they dance. You hardly see them. The studio feels B. Bad that the live band is gone. Those dancing are almost too good, after all, the journey and development the participants do that are the interesting.”
“The dancers disappear in the dark decor and all the flashing lights !! And … take back Ann Wilson !! She who is now just gaping and must necessarily throw in English words when she talks. Much that was better with old LD”.
