The video of the Alpha Jet crash

Two Alpha Jets of the Patrol of France came up against a training flight. The pilots are in relative emergency.

Two planes from the Patrol of France crashed during training this Tuesday, March 25 near Saint-Dizier in eastern France. “The emergency services are mobilized, and a coordination ensured between the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of the Armed Forces,” said the Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu on X. The two pilots were in Alpha Jets, a plane to present the Patrol of France. They would have collided around 3:35 p.m., said the Air and Space Army at AFP. Three people were “found aware”. The two pilots and a passenger were able to eject in time. However, they are in “relative emergency” and two of them were hospitalized. The third was taken care of by the “polytraumatized” army.

Images have been broadcast, showing six aircraft making acrobatic figures. They also drag tricolor smoke. The city had announced that the acrobatic patrol of France would be present for training this week. We then see, in fact, two devices that face each other and which seem to be partially disintegrating after the impact.

A witness to the accident, who was driving his car, told France 3 : “. I saw one of the planes stitching down then given two parachutes – I don’t know if they came from the same plane. Then a piece of wing left and the plane crashed on a factory. There were flames, smoke …”. The damage is being estimated. The silo of a nearby cement plant would have undergone “damage due to the fall of an airplane”, according to a close source, with France Télévisions.
