In the US state of Nebraska, a 13-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy who were allegedly driving at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour were taken to safety.
POLICES STOP FORCED
According to the information received, Nebraska police officials wanted to stop the light all-terrain vehicle, whose speed was about 60 kilometers per hour, on the interstate road in the city of Kearney. However, a chase started between the police and the driver, who did not comply with the stop warning and increased his speed and escaped. In the chase, which lasted for about 15 minutes, the speed of the vehicle reached 160 kilometers per hour.
The fact that another police team placed a spiked trap on the road it would pass could not stop the vehicle either. Thereupon, the police could only stop the vehicle with their maneuvers.
Another 11-year-old boy found
He took the 13-year-old girl driver of the vehicle and the 11-year-old boy next to her to safety. During the search of the vehicle, the police seized a gun and a small amount of cannabis. Authorities did not provide details on the children, whom they declared were from the state of Colorado. (AA)
