Province of Utrecht – The grid operators Tennet and Stedin have not managed to find enough large companies that want to use less electricity at peak times. The power grid in the province is under great pressure. If nothing happens, according to Tennet and Stedin, “no new homes, SME entrepreneurs or charging stations can be connected until the major expansion projects of the electricity network are completed.”
