During a debate last week on RTV Utrecht, party leader Maarten Koning of D66 indicated that this issue could be a breaking point for the formation. “If you are serious about tackling the housing shortage and the climate crisis, you have to grab it with both hands to make that possible in Rijnenburg. Then D66 would love to work with parties that want to take steps in that direction,” said Koning.
